Hi, there. My name is Ralin Dayon. I am the author of this blog.

Piaya is a flat pastry made from flour and molasses and it is very popular in Bacolod City, my hometown. And diary is something you put your thoughts and feeling in--or just about anything. Thus, the name Piaya Diary: Piaya that represents my hometown--or me, and Diary, you know.

This blog will talk about this city from its food to the culture, from time to time. It will also feature products or food I have tried or created. My goal is to share beautiful experience and ideas with you.
